Xaar, the leader in industrial inkjet technology, is to showcase its Xaar 2001+ printhead with High Laydown Technology at Indian Ceramics 2018. Speaking during the Innovation Exchange forum running alongside the show, Gerard Winn, Senior Product Manager, will explain how the Xaar 2001+ with High Laydown Technology is delivering exceptional value to ceramic tile manufacturers in India and around the world.
Arrow Digital has recently installed the first Xaar 2001+ in Asia at Scientifica Tiles LLP in Morbi, India. The producer of high-quality Glaze Vitrified floor tiles chose the KERAjet Master S7 with Xaar 2001+ printheads specifically for the 720 dpi and High Laydown Technology, which deliver exceptional print quality and unrivalled effects, significantly better than those produced by any other printhead on the market.
As the most versatile printhead for the ceramic tile decoration industry, the Xaar 2001+ is capturing the interest of tile manufacturers looking to innovate and differentiate, and there are now numerous ceramics printers around the world using it. Many of these installations use High Laydown Technology, which allows them to print special effects with deposition levels not possible with competitor offerings.
With the Xaar 2001+ family, tile manufacturers can offer more creativity at high line speeds than has been possible to date. Fine details for wall tiles (6 pL drops and 720 dpi resolution), strong colours for floor tiles (up to 30 g/m2 at 35 m/min line speed), and exceptional special effects (such as gloss, adhesives and metallic, up to 120 g/m2 at 35 m/min line speed) are all possible with the Xaar 2001+ and High Laydown Technology.
"We are delighted with the reports coming back from tile manufacturers who have chosen the Xaar 2001+, particularly as many are utilising our unique High Laydown Technology,” comments Gerard Winn. “The decoration quality and special effects produced by the Xaar 2001+ combined with High Laydown Technology are unrivalled on the market, and presents huge competitive advantages to tile manufacturers in India and around the world."
