Learning and development

We believe that the best way to learn and develop is through the interesting and challenging work as part of your role at Xaar. You’ll be given early responsibility of your development but will be well supported by your manager and colleagues.

As the business grows, we want you to grow too. We'll provide opportunities for technical training specific to your needs and where appropriate for relevant professional qualifications. We can also provide targeted development opportunities for where you want your career to progress to via coaching and mentoring.

When you first join, you'll complete a comprehensive onboarding plan. You'll also be working alongside the rest of the team from the get go to help you settle in and guide you.

We believe in promoting people from within the business wherever possible and your career development will be supported through regular personal development discussions and performance reviews.

Xaar Social

As well as working hard to deliver our vision, we have a good time doing it. For all our UK employees, our social club offers subsided access to events, meals out and family activities.

We hold events throughout the year to raise money for a variety of national and local charities. We sponsor employees and their families engaging in sports activities and personal challenges they participate in.

We support local Imagineering Clubs which introduce 8-16 year olds to the world of engineering, science and technology.
