Since the launch of the Xaar 1001 printhead in 2007 featuring TF Technology, it has been possible to reliably jet highly-pigmented, viscous inks, opening up exciting new applications – ceramic tile printing, for example – to digital inkjet print. So why does Xaar’s TF Technology ink recirculation not only significantly outperform other manufacturers ink “recirculation” methods, but also provides the lowest cost of ownership – we’ve listed out four reasons below.

There isn't a day goes by without another shower of innovative applications around 3D printing hitting the press. From printing human tissue to the growing number of components built into the latest commercial airliners, there is now an incredible array of applications from the seven core technologies that sit under the 3D Printing umbrella.

Inkjet printing has revolutionised the global ceramic tile decoration industry over a relatively short time. This is an amazing achievement for an industry that for many years traditionally produced either plain or unsophisticated patterned tiles using screen printing and had little use for computers. The conversion of production lines to digital decoration is set to continue as it offers such great economic benefits, but what are the next challenges with ceramic tile decoration and where else can digital inkjet technology provide benefits?Increased colour space

In 2012 we launched our own app, 'Xapp', for Apple devices to showcase the company's printhead technology and how its innovations have led the way in transforming the ceramics, coding & marking, labels, laminates, packaging and wide-format graphics industries.
