Our Locations

Our nearly 700 strong work force is largely based across two sites in the UK. We also have employees in the US, India and Hong Kong as well as a 3D research team in Denmark. In 2016 Xaar acquired Engineered Printing Solutions (EPS) based in Vermont in the US.


Our headquarters are located at the Cambridge Science Park, the hub of R&D and technology within the UK and Europe. The Cambridge area isn’t called Silicon Fen for nothing, with the highest number of tech and bio-tech companies outside of Silicon Valley.
Cambridge is small enough to be friendly and easy to get around but with the facilities of a larger city. The historic and beautiful city offers a wide variety of social, cultural and leisure activities as well as highly regarded schools and amenities. There are also excellent transport links with Stansted just down the road and London accessible in 50 minutes by train.


Just 20 miles down the A14 from Cambridge, Huntingdon is home to our high-tech cleanrooms. The area is an established manufacturing centre of excellence supporting over 10,500 jobs in the region. Huntingdon’s key market towns, Ramsey, St Ives and St Neots have long and interesting histories, offering peaceful settings, river frontage, historical attractions and quality restaurants and cafes.


Our newly opened 3D Centre on the Nottingham Science Park is geared to providing 3D printing services and equipment to OEMs, material suppliers and end users. Our 3D Team is headed up by Professor Neil Hopkinson, the inventor of High Speed Sintering technology, and supported by an experienced group of talented engineers working in Copenhagen, Denmark who provide design and process development expertise.
