Inkjet Development System
The Xaar Inkjet Development System (IDS) provides developers of commercial and industrial inkjet printers with all the inkjet components necessary to build a prototype or evaluation system.
The system comes complete with printheads, drive electronics, ink supply and a PC software suite enabling configuration of the data stream, integration with “upstream” software and source code and the capability to integrate system capabilities into your application.
A documentation pack is provided to assist you in developing your own production hardware and support systems all of which is underpinned with onsite technical support from Xaar’s applications team.

- A mechanical transport system to move the substrate or printhead in relation to each other
- Rotary or linear encoder signals for data synchronisation
- Product detect signal for print start
- A PC to run the supplied software
- A UV curing lamp (UV inks)
- Upstream software (BMP output) including colour correction, image formatting.
