The SID-ME 2012 Spring Meeting will take place at two locations. We will start in the morning of May 7, 2012, at XaarJet AB in north western Stockholm. At 15:30 in the afternoon we will transfer to the ship M/S Cinderella to continue the conference during a 24 hour cruise to and from the Åland Islands which are halfway between Sweden and Finland.
The conference hall seats 200 people and has 4 seminar rooms for both days of the conference. Previous conferences on this ship proved to be both stimulating in atmosphere as well as an excellent forum for networking during the meals, coffee breaks, on the promenade decks or in the various cafeterias and bars.
The journey will take us through the picturesque Stockholm archipelago, which has over 10,000 islands, and over the open Baltic Sea to Mariehamn in the Åland Islands. We will be back in Stockholm harbour at 15:30 on May 8, where we will depart – hopefully after a fruitful and memorable conference with a number of new personal contacts for everyone.
The meeting will take place on the conference deck 9, in the 200 seat conference hall, as well as in four seminar rooms which will provide opportunities for various break-out sessions.
Included in the SID 2012 conference registration are A-cabins (single/double occupancy) with windows. All cabins have a toilet, shower, radio and air conditioning.

In view of the recent accident of the ship ‘Costa Concordia’ the following is astatement from VIKING LINE:
"We assume responsibility for the safety of both our passengers and employees, and we do everything possible to create the safest and most secure voyage for everyone. All those on board, regardless of their requirements and wishes, shall be able to enjoy their voyage in peace, without needing to worry about safety."
