In 2012 we launched our own app, 'Xapp', for Apple devices to showcase the company's printhead technology and how its innovations have led the way in transforming the ceramics, coding & marking, labels, laminates, packaging and wide-format graphics industries.
The app includes datasheets and guides for our product range and animations of the Xaar 1002 and Xaar Proton printheads, plus an animation about our unique TF Technology™. A unique feature on the Xapp is the use of augmented reality (AR). AR allows users to explore the inside of the Xaar 1002 and Xaar Proton printheads in an interactive way. The magnified view of the printheads and technology gives a unique insight into what takes place at high speed and at a microscopic level inside ink channels that are less than the width of a human hair. The AR helps you to fully understand how the technology delivers outstanding print quality, high productivity, reliability and easy integration.
To enjoy the full AR experience, download the Xaar 'Xapp' app onto your Apple device from the Apple App Store, and print the trigger images that are available in the media resource section of the website. Then, use the AR function to view the animations triggered by these images to explore Xaar technology.
