Laminate flooring offers a huge variety of decorative choices. In traditional printing, it is the printed decorative paper which gives laminate flooring its individual appearance. This is then treated with an overlay of melamin resin, to make it hard wearing. Now however, machine manufacturers for home décor products are moving into the production of digital printing machines. Digital printing brings many benefits to surface coating industries. Printing directly onto a variety of substrates, affordably and in very small batches, allows companies to open up new creative applications and markets.
