Xaar plc (“Xaar”), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge, announces that Xaar and Xennia Technology Limited (“Xennia”) have agreed to extend their inkjet cooperation first announced last June. Under the new agreement, Xennia will be a preferred Xaar integrator partner and the companies will work together to offer customers turnkey industrial inkjet solutions, based on Xaar printheads and Xennia’s inkjet ink and engineering capabilities.

At this week’s IMI Inkjet Developers Conference in Geneva, Xennia will unveil plans for expansion in the fast growing market for industrial inkjet applications and launch its new product manufacturing and supply division, XenJet. XenJet will provide a range of inkjet print engines and production printers, available as standalone units or for integration onto customers’ production lines. The current range of Xaar printheads and the latest generation greyscale heads will be fully supported by XenJet products.

Commenting on the announcement, Nick Balon, VP and General Manager of Xennia said: “We regard the strengthening of the Xennia-Xaar relationship as very good news for our customers.
