Xaar plc is pleased to announce its support of a new Technology Centre, to be built in NetPark, a technology park in Sedgefield County Durham. The Technology Centre will be an open access facility for the entire European plastic electronics community. Xaar has committed to provide its innovative piezoelectric inkjet technology and technical support as part of a consortium of companies which have joined together to enable the fledgling plastic electronics manufacturing industry in the UK. The Technology Centre will initially install a Pilot Line based on the process and technology developed by Plastic Logic at its existing site in Cambridge.
