Xaar plc (“Xaar”), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge, has extended its relationship with imaging Technology international Corporation (“iTi Corp” or “iTi”) of Boulder, Colorado, USA, with the nomination of iTi as a preferred integration partner for industrial inkjet applications. The initial collaboration between Xaar and iTi was announced on 2 September 2004.

Together, iTi and Xaar are integrating Xaar printheads and other products for developing markets including printed electronics, packaging and biomedical. Both parties will cooperate to provide complete industrial solutions for clients wanting to use Xaar’s printhead technology and iTi’s inkjet based production systems in their manufacturing and packaging processes. iTi has developed a range of equipment for these and other markets aimed at both early stage research and full commercial production.
